Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Yarmolenko does not have a release clause, the player, his agent and the chairman have all 3 repeatedly stated this, sites like sportofact state the opposite - believe what you will of those :)

Oliver Torres is not available for transfer - and why on earth would Athletico loan him to us with an option to buy when they don't want to sell him? they loaned him to porto and refused to isnert any buy option last season and this one besides some jarg websites written by 'soccer fans' with names like Abeaoine and yunchimoon who support Chelsea and City all their lives - there is no credible report of that stance changing.

I believe it was AS that reported the news that Torres was set to leave, mate, though I haven't got a link at hand.

Not sure if there's been an update since then. At first I was baffled by the news as he's been a pretty regular starter for them this season.

Fair enough on Yarms. I thought I'd seen a few places (not sportofact) that he had a release clause.

Can you honestly see him leaving his boyhood club while there top of the league and still in the champions league?? surely he will wait till the summer? Makes no sense for him to leave now euros coming up to, i hope im wrong be a massive sign of intent and a great signing but i know we wont sign him in january

I can do mate, he has wanted to leave for 3 years but stayed as he made a promise to the fans he would stay until they managed to win the league again - as they haven't for a good whilst, last season they did so he lived up to his word, he then resigned a contract purely so the club would not miss out on the money from him leaving, think for him it's already gotten to the point he just wants a new challenge to push himself on and waiting another 6 months might seem easy for us - but when you've already been waiting and waiting and waiting it probably seems a lot harder, fair credit to him though everything i've heard and read about his 'character' he is a good 'un like.

they have never been in this position over the champions league? he wont be stupid arshavin bily etc all took time to settle he doesnt need that with the biggest euro's of his career coming up, he does seem to have a good character if he wanted to join so much he would of told the chairman he was coming in the summer, you forget that was 21 mil to, if he had already lived up to his word he would of let they wanted him for champs league there still in so why sell him!! just think were wasting our time again

'Roberto Martinez likes this'

Seen us linked to that Charlton youngster whose name I can't remember. Lookman? Is that it? Can't remember.

Anyway, seen him play twice and he was boss. Well boss for that level and for Charlton.

I'm sure @mrs d' indica can tell us more.

Seen this in the Independent this morning:

The crisis at Charlton is likely to spark a race among Premier League clubs to sign 18-year-old Lookman, a striker widely thought to the best young prospect in the Championship. City and Chelsea head the queue, but Everton and Tottenham have also followed his progress and would compete in any auction.

How are we going to compete against those three in any auction?
Blah blah blah

@Eggs @blueloon

I saw that Ola Aina of chelsea linked a couple of days ago and posted on here. He's a 19 year old fast and powerful right back and capped at england youth level...cant find his wiki page to check which level.

Not like john terry at all.

@BlueToff i posted before i was amazed at the oliver links...but no quotes yet so could be made up though hes out of the starting 11 now.
