Going to come out and say it but we will not sign yarmolenko, chairman said he will only sell if they are out of europe he has no release clause, why would he join us in 11th and not in europe when he can stay till the end have a good euro's and get a champions league move, makes no sense it was the start of the season or never for me!

He does have a release clause by all accounts - of around £20mil.

But, in principle, I agree with you.

Personally, a player we could be going all out to get is Oliver Torres from Atleti.

Available for transfer, and I think a loan with an option to buy would be incredible business.

He would suit our team down to the ground if we are looking for someone to take over the Pienaar mantle down the left.

However, it seems as though RM is looking to have more of an inside forward on the left in order to provide more support for Rom, with Cleverley taking over the 'Pienaar role' when needs be.

See i don't think we are signing him either. BUT.... what we can offer him is;

1. A move to a much better league
2. Pay rise
3. Work under martinez (which carries weight for some young players like del and tarashaj)
4. In the direct window for CL clubs- hell even bigger pay rise from that again
5. Be the star of a team who on the face of it, look like a fun team to play for as an attacker.

so there is definetily advantages for him to move. Just look at konoplyanka, there wasn't a massive queue for him in the summer, it was whoever was arsed to sort his situation out. however if he was up for sale after the season he is currently having in spain, a lot more clubs would have chased him.

Yarmolenko does not have a release clause, the player, his agent and the chairman have all 3 repeatedly stated this, sites like sportofact state the opposite - believe what you will of those :)

Oliver Torres is not available for transfer - and why on earth would Athletico loan him to us with an option to buy when they don't want to sell him? they loaned him to porto and refused to isnert any buy option last season and this one besides some jarg websites written by 'soccer fans' with names like Abeaoine and yunchimoon who support Chelsea and City all their lives - there is no credible report of that stance changing.

Your right he doesn't have a release clause - 100% nailed on, the Chairman has stated that should a suitable offer come in during this window then he will sell though mate - just reiterated his personal opinion hed be better moving in the summer - its down to us offering a fee he thinks he wont be able to better next summer, if we do we will get him, simple as that really

Missed out a huge one too mate, he saw first hand our away fans and a Goodison rocking under the lights, both those can leave a very good impression with any player, especially one whose playing half his games week in week out at Sunday league type grounds away from home

Also missed out that he gets to leave a country at war basically too, know i'd rate that as a plus point ;)

All told Yarmolenko just seems to be very clear in what he wants - something that for us is a good point, if he agreed with us a deal last summer then i can see him staying with that

.....
Mirror Football link us with Chelsea starlet, Ola Aina and there is still the odd bit about us bidding £21m for Yaramelenko.
I saw that elsewhere the other day. Context was that at 19 he's the next John Terry ,frustrated cos he can't get anywhere near their first team ,contract is up in the summer and he won't re sign , Arsenal were apparently in pole position promising him first team games, we were one of a number off clubs mentioned as also interested.

yeah there is that too, personally if i was on the fence on a move away i'd take that into account, know you will be worshipped by the fans!

I guess that is a good point about his situation as well, a chance to move away from any danger that could happen.

Can you honestly see him leaving his boyhood club while there top of the league and still in the champions league?? surely he will wait till the summer? Makes no sense for him to leave now euros coming up to, i hope im wrong be a massive sign of intent and a great signing but i know we wont sign him in january

There is no release clause mate, that was his old contract, he's just got an agreement to leave if its an acceptable offer and if there out the champions league by January, if they were out of that id be much more confident makes no sense for him to move yet, just think were all wasting are time getting excited
