Jags and Lescott were both from championship sides, both turned into England internationals. Baines was from Wigan, turned into Europe's best left back, Colemam from the Irish League, right back in the PFA team of the year. Stones from Barnsley. It is lazy just to deride any player not from a CL side.

I can where you are coming from but don't forget they have experience in this league, and RK will have watched these guys before, unlike some of the fancy named players we can buy from Europe who get over here and turn out to be awful.
