Everton Transfer Thread 2016

We will see what some to pass but from Koemans quotes, I am not expecting the transfer window I was hoping for.

Before Koeman was appointed and well before Martinez was sacked it was widely reported that Moshiri would hand the manager £100 million this summer. I accept that there are no direct quotes from the club saying we would have that kind of money but there were "noises" coming from the club. Justin listen to what Kenwright was saying when he was parading Moshiri around corporate hospitality.

Factoring in the sale of Stones for £47 million and with Koeman saying he expects 3/4 signings I don't see us spending anything like what was originally reported.
I don't really want to just spunk £100m + Stones money for the sake of it though...

Midnight on deadline day can't come quick enough.

Who thought it would be a good idea to have the window open three games into the season ffs.

I want to be 100% looking forward to and excited about the first game, rather than being sat there on Saturday fuming about a lack of signings when Spurs go 1-0 up.

And I'm a believer in the new regime

Probably aiming to get stuffed in the opening 2 fixtures so that we can claim it is all part of the 1984/85 repeat show.

Champions it is then.

Saturday's crap lineup is the direct output of our terrible transfer window dealings. There is no reason why we shouldnt have a backup striker, GK, LW in by now. Everton was an awful run club before and they appear to still be run awfully.

If Rom and Coleman are fit (50/50 atm)

Stek

Coleman Jags Mori Baines

Gueye Barry

Lennon/Del Barkley Mirallas

Lukaku

(if not, chuck in Holgate for Coleman and Del for Lukaku).

That isn't crap.

I won't be concerned until the end of the window mate. I've said all along I'm waiting until then to judge as I believe our squad is strong enough to get through the opening games of the campaign.

If the additions don't come in then I won't be happy, but it's out of my control so I'm not gonna fret about it
No but you seem very intent on defending the board. Why is that?

Haha this transfer window has been a complete joke. We have been a laughing stock, as always sell before buy.

Selling to buy, which my or may not be the reality, does not make us a laughing stock. The elements of the fan base that thought and in some cases shouted about us being the new Man City they may have made us a bit of a lacking stock.
