Pretty sure it can just carry over.
You would think, but the STCC rules are from year to year, sort of.

Curious about this too@The Esk
A question thats just came to me regarding the STCC rules.
Say, for arguments sake we sell Lukaku AND Stones and then purchase players that only increase our wage bill by a small amount, do we carry that profit on to the next year? Or is that massive profit "wasted" in terms of STCC?
If my question makes sense.......
surely profits from a sale only relates to the financial year it took place in?
Im not sure, hence my question really.
Certainly haven't attracted the calibre of player we were hoping for, still time though and the lot we have will be in better shape under this regime.
I'm hopeful, boss speaks his mind and won't suffer fools, I like that.
....I'm hopeful too, I'm just a bit concerned with what we have going into our first games.
It can't be carried over. It's an increase on the wages year on year.
As you should be, its been an utter shambles from start to finish, but its done now, the gaffer clearly has a plan and he doesnt strike me as somebody that wont get it done.
We faced a reality sadly, the reality is that a club that finished 11th for 2 seasons cant attract the higher tier of player.
Stones was sold cos he wanted out, if Lukaku goes it will be for the same reason, I guess we have to watch with interest the next few weeks.
Why?, because it's not what you wanna hear. It's the reality of the situation.
Or its real and have just overpaid for a player worse than anyone in the league.
Meh, that was what I suspected.
The lack of any European football never mind CL is a huge deterrent to players who have, and want to maintain, a high international profile.
We need this season and maybe the next to build this club into a top 4 or top 6 and one to which the sexy names want to be a part.
To those of you who are unhappy with this....wake up and smell reality.
So you actually think the 'reality of the situation' is that Koeman accepted the job at Everton knowing he'd have no money to spend and that he'd have to sell Stones and Lukaku? There is absolutely no truth in your reality.
Another example of your 'reality' that simply isn't factual.
Unrelated question for you mate on the keeper thing.
Do you reckon it's looking like Stekkers for the foreseeable?
