Bony went from the Dutch League to Swansea, he showed hunger and got a move to City.

Islam will be hungry to prove himself in the league.
I could argue that Bony would be hungry to show he was better than what he showed at City. It must have been frustrating sitting on the bench. I bet he's dying to start enjoying football again.

Actually I don't. Neither of us have a clue. :-)

All I know is when I saw Bony at Swansea I thought he was fantastic.

So you would be OK with us overpaying fees AND wages to get these deals done no matter what it would take?

It would set a very bad precedent.
It's not a question of being ok with it or not. It's that I would expect it to be done if the 100m net budget was real.
As far as precedents are concerned we set one when we doubled RK's wages to get him. If we hadn't being willing to offer a substantial wage premium we may well have ended up with a manager on the level of Eddie Howe.

Judging by the look of him last season he's certainly hungry, constantly

Saying that, if he gets back in decent shape he's a good player
