Utter frauds them, aren't they mate? How can we be going into the season with only 70% fitness levels? What has the first fixture not been set in stone for months?
How can we be kicking off and have no decent goalkeeper yet again?
Piss poor management.

The sorry state of the squads overall fitness is primarily an damning indictment of Kenwright and Elstone. Koeman cannot simply walk in and address this without getting through 5 or 6 competitive games, friendlies simply cannot replicate the required intensity. His comments today did not surprise me in the least in that regard - we are behind we he wants us to be for sure, but no club will start the season at 100%. Fine margins count for everything at this level.
This is one of the basic pre-requisites of elite sport, as if results/performances under Martinez were not bad enough, Finch Farm was doubling up as a leisure centre for two years.
It is a complete and utter disgrace that Martinez was not volleyed out the door 18 months ago. What a sorry state of affairs. Kenwright could not get through Koeman's first press conference without alluding to how difficult it was to sack Martinez. This is how we are where we are - too much back-slapping, country club mismanagement, daring to do nothing that would put anyone out of their comfort zone at EFC.
It's not big signings that will convince me that a new era has dawned at EFC - Kenwright and Elstone have sat on their hands long enough and need to go, regardless of how symbolic or irrelevant their roles have become. Really hope that this will coincide with Moshiri taking up his additional share options, and hope he continues with the appointments of people of the calibre of Ryazantsev. We need a new chairman, new CEO, and new commercial director.
I'm glad Koeman can see the wood from the trees, it has been a difficult summer which has not matched my expectations to date in terms of signings but at least we have a manager who is identifying problem areas and setting about solving them. That is great news.
I just hope we can add someone in the centre of the park (Mata) to go with a GK and striker. That, with Kone and Bolasie will result in things looking much better.

Clubs from large and small European football countries knocking at Hakim Ziyech, but the jewel of the league closes a move to Dutch club no longer.
Besides Ajax also follow Ronald Koeman (Everton) and Frank de Boer (Inter) movements around Ziyech. A transfer of the FC Twente striker is imminent.
Read more from 05:30 in De Telegraaf and Telesport.nl.
Ziyech was in the last season in a difficult running club as FC Twente accounted for 17 goals and 10 assists. Will he end up in a good team, then those numbers will be even greater. He can at topdrieclub in the Netherlands make the difference in the title race.
Can't we just arrange a few of our summer 2017 transfers that they happen inside 2016/17 season and we pay massive sign-on-fees to these new players so this would raise our 16/17 wages? Wouldn't this achieve the needed goal?We would bring forward our summer 2017 transfer budget/activity to January 2017 as much as we possiby could to utilise the spare capacity in wage growth. I would not expect for a moment to utilise it all.
