Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Just an interesting sup plot for now. (His reliable source is on holiday). But Yarmolenko picked up a minor knock against Maciebo, (?) on 15th Dec and has been on a special, low impact, personal training programme, so the sort of tests a transfer medical would need are unlikely.

Dortmund interest is real, but only real recently. (As opposed to rumours I guess).

Aye mirrors what i heard about his injury, he's with the Kiev squad but not training with them in their winter camp apparently, seperate trainign program - low impact etc i guess

As long as Dortmund stick with the part ex angle and Surkis opinion on the Bundesliga doesn't change then we may still have a strong chance then i hope

Also from Kiev.

We certainly tried to contact defender Khacheridi, but were knocked back by agent influence.

Really odd why his agent would knock us back tbh, not entirely upset about that though, he is a old school cb but not exactly someone who i'd see as world class, would have strengthened us certainly in the air though

but again what are you basing that on? his championship record?

plenty of strikers can score loads in the championship but are out of place once they step up. I'm not disagreeing with anyone that Austin isn't a good striker, course I would have liked to sign him.

But basing it on one season is highly speculative to say the least considering we have another one season wonder in the team. hindsight may say Austin is a missed opportunity so a lot of clubs, but we won't know until a few years down the line.

Basing it on consistent form at every level he's been at for the last five years. The £15m last summer would have been an unreasonable risk - £4m seems a no brainer for a striker not even at his peak yet who can score like that.

Obviously he might not pan out, but it's the sort of signing I like to see us take a punt on; low cost, potentially high reward and the right age.

Yes, he has 100% been training on his own, coming back from injury.

What I know for sure that you`ve tried to contact Khacheridi (central defender), but denied from player side, due to agent influence. That was good choice, moreover it was funny to read that some people on forum were saying that Dragovich is stronger.

This is the note. Read into it what you want!

Kacheridi is the better outright cb, Dragovich is by far the better ball player, more comfortable on the ball IMO, if you like, Kach is more a distin type, Dragovich is more a stones type.

btw mate, reading that a different way and with his comment about it, sounds more like he is saying that the agent got the player to deny that we had made any contact - which would suggest its to keep a deal under wraps as most agents like to trumpet any interest in a client unless it could jeopardize a deal

So wait, do we have any interest in Yarmolenko again?

Dragovic was certainly the better player against us.

Seen Kacheredi do some absolute idiotic things as well mate, kicking out at players aftera foul etc, he is a proper hardcase though, if you can imagine the prototype for a Martinez cb he is the utter opposite physically lol, he isnt bad on the ball just Dragovich IMO is very good on it.

The fact we had interest or maybe still do have is a bit worrying for me re the future of Stones though
