I'm disappointed too but I don't think the reason we didn't get those players was because we couldn't. I think the reason is simpler. That is what we needed under Martinez however under Koeman I think he plans to play a completely different way.

More direct and on the counter attack with two flying wingers.

Based on todays game I would probably call off the search for a keeper as their are bigger priorities. I would like us to finalise the deal for Kone who looks like a good strong defender at a good age. We clearly need another striker to provide competition for Rom. However, the key for me is more creativity/intelligence in the final third. I don't think we can realistically afford Mata so maybe it would be worth taking a punt on Ziyech from Twente.
