I've no qualms about Stekelenberg or Gueye and he does look like a bargain. But is Bolasie better than Del or Mirallas? After a couple of years when we again will look to improve that position would anyone even pay 20M for a 29 or 30 year old Bolasie? He is going to be record signing mate and that is totally disturbing to see. If he was signing for 15M I'd be happy for just cos we have money now does not mean me start going berserk. Walsh would never have signed him for Leicester if he was gonna cost this much.

Bolasie is only 27 and the figure being discussed is something around 20M rising to 25M, though this could change through all the discussions that have taken place. Remember Williams was being quoted as costing 12M when in fact it was 9.5M. Bolasie is a bit hot and cold but Walsh and Koeman see something in him and their judgement has been spot on so far. So let's give him the benefit of the doubt. I really hope we get this Ghezzal guy as he is the kind of player we need up front. I think our marque signing could be Mata at just over 30M...

With Mata looking increasingly likely to stop at Man Utd I reckon we may go in for him now.

interesting that it states Bristol City will get a sizeable cut of the transfer fee. This will possibly explain why it seems we are having to pay a few ££££ more than what most think he's worth.

Bolasie coming under a lot of fire from many on here. Don't understand the hate myself.
Fair enough, the fee is steep but he's a very good player.
Have we not learnt anything from the signings of Stekelenburg and Gueye?
Plenty giving them stick and Koeman stick for signing them but they have been our best players up to now!
How about we leave the big important decisions to the big important people? They know what they're doing.
It will work out for the best I'm sure.
