Everton Transfer Thread 2016

James Rodriguez, a Colombian superstar, a Galactico, a player who was incredible at the last World Cup, a player who carries his country, a man who could walk in to any top side throughout Europe, a man who plays alongside some of the greatest names in football is gonna throw all that away for a bit of extra money and to play alongside Yannick Bolasie?

Get a grip on reality you utter cretins.

Aye, he definitely won't be near Everton. I can see PSG signing him though.

Gabbidon did supply the best information and pictures in the final days of the Williams transfer.
He works in the football industry and as a recently retired premiership player will have plenty of friends and contacts around football.

Why, is everybody focusing on only two or three Real Madrid players? There are other high profile players in the world.
I think that Gabbidon tweeted that Everton were chasing more of his "mates".
It is probably unlikely he is mates with Isco or the other two mentioned and they are extremely unlikely to even consider Everton, it would seem like a step down in their career.

Rodriguez is on abar 130k pw? we'd have to offer him double to even get his interest slightly peaked, not gonna happen is it really.

Was a fun nigth seeign all the wild guesses though :)

Would it be a worthwhile gamble to blow 250k a week on him in the hope it gets us top 4? or a basic deal of 140k a week with mental add ons like 25k appearance fee, 15k sub fee, 50k goal fee, 30k assist etc[/QUOTE]

Honestly mate, it wouldn't matter anyways, plus not even remotely feasable of plausable, but amsuing to see if we actually did bid as would be pure popcorning by us and some fans would eat it up as us showing great ambition when in relaity it'd just be a bid to get us some headlines and try show ambition with absolutely no chance of happening.

Leeds United tried the big wage strategy, didnt really work out

It's delusion on a Kopite scale to even think someone with his ability, talent and premium would want to come here. These are the same people who are happy with signing Yannick Bolasie.

Is anyone actually realistically saying we would have a chance of signing him mate?

think the vast majority are just having a laugh speculating, something which hurts you deep inside by the looks of it, humour, bit of not taking things SO seriously, maybe try chilling out and not taking everything typed on a forum as such an affront to your opinion of what people should act like?

Maybe one day you will even say something positive... Nah bit too much to ask that last bit ;)

If Everton were in any way going to sign a player like James Rodriguez then I doubt the man to break the news internationally would be Danny Gabbidon.

I imagine he just got wind we were interested in Mata or something equally as underwhelming.

Danny Gabbidon saying the likes of Isco, Draxler or James Rodriquez could come to Everton. Anyone actually know if this has any truth or or is it complete rubbish?
