Everton Transfer Thread 2016

People are also assuming that it's a permanent signign we are looking for if this lads tweet is at all accurate, whose to say we are trying a cheeky loan for a out of favour Madrid player - Isco, Kovacic or even James on loan we'd have a fraction of a chance at with a big loan fee - full wage offer and chance for them to 'proove themselves' in this leage so Madrid can get a whopping fee afterwards. to sign them permanently - pretty much no chance whatsoever - plus player may consdier a 1 year move as a means to an end (given Reals policy of churnign manager sin a year or two) gets them out the club and back for a new manager to reavaluate after a great year in the premiership.

just musing ofc as more than likely we bid on Rodriguez 'the mystery 72m bid from england' and got laughed at by his agents/the player himself

It's everton mate and we have no idea what they want lol. I mean I can't see some star name coming here even if we offered silly money or a loan or whatever. We have mata down the rd who we can't sign the likely hood of someone bigger? What's those title odds again......

This tweet is literally insane! INSANE if the transfer goes through.

It'll probably be Draxler that Koeman is after. He's said he wants to go, if an offer comes along. But that would mean Bolasie AND draxler playing in the same position in the same transfer window.

Isco - unlikely.

James - most unlikely considering he wants to stay at RM.

Nurse, nurse ...

Read the info minge. Bigger as in letters as well

IF and thats a big IF there is anythign to what he's heard then it'd almost certain to have come through Williams and /or Wales contacts, both hima dn Williams share the agent with Bale, so would pooint towards Madrid, whose available at Madrid that would be 1, a longer name than Hart (rules Isco out), and 2, a bigger name than Hart (is Kovacic etc a bigger name - not really), so would pretty much siggest Rodriguez - which given difficulty we have been ahving getting what i'd say would be B loist known players like Witsel et al over the line - would be a bit of a mental offer from us - as would you'd have to think be laughed out by the player and his reps.

Unless we really where set to 'do a city' with a Robinho signing - but nothing so far comes close to suggestign we are either lookign to do that or are finiancially capable of offering the type of wages needed to turn the head of player and agent like City di with Robinho - plus City actually failed big time ont he one they really wanted with Kaka that window as well.

Rodriguez is on abar 130k pw? we'd have to offer him double to even get his interest slightly peaked, not gonna happen is it really.

Was a fun nigth seeign all the wild guesses though :)

Only really big name we could attract we would have to pay insanely more than any other offer or there current deal mate, and i mean absolutely ridiculously so

Robinho went onto 160k pw in 2008 - highest paid player in the league etc as well, and 100k more than City's top earner at the time (from a bit of reading aroudn on it - earned 30k pw more than Terry was earning as well), so what would someone like Rodriguez demand to even consider a step down in the same way... probably lookling at having to give him a contract hgher than the likes of the ones Rooney, Ibra etc are all on...

As i said it's fun speculating, but complete and utter madness now that the reality of the summer is here and we are seeing what our player type of player we can actually get a deal sorted for.

Would it be a worthwhile gamble to blow 250k a week on him in the hope it gets us top 4? or a basic deal of 140k a week with mental add ons like 25k appearance fee, 15k sub fee, 50k goal fee, 30k assist etc

Better question is.

Why would real madrid's James Rodriguez who could play for any club in the world, walk into any top team and currently playing for the european champions, transfer to 11th placed Everton as a positive career move even for doubling his wages?
