I rate Sissoko quite highly but I'm not sure he's what we need given that we just signed Bolasie. I'd be happier signing a ballplaying centre mid or a striker. All further thoughts on this welcome, happy to be told I'm missing the point.

He wouldn't play as a winger in this team mate. He can play as CAM and CM, think that's what we need.

and Hmmm, 7.5m for Gueye, 500k for Stek, 25m for Bolasie, 10m for Williams thats 43m - we got less than that for Stones after paying Barnsley so yeah we do have a positive net spend mate

So at what point do we add what we've paid for Koeman and what we've paid to get rid of Martinez
 
Can we get this thread back on topic and discuss Clare Balding please? Hazel Irvine is also in the running for my affections during the Olympics but I just can't get past her being Scottish. Last night in the cycling there was a brief moment of confusion and Balding momentarily looked a bit panicked, that moment of vulnerability has only served to increase my feelings for her.

I think I might have to setup a new Twitter account for the purposes of telling her how much I appreciate her on a daily basis.
 
So apparently in talks over Sissoko and bookies favourites to sign Benteke. We really are trying to give the reds something to smile about.

I'm not a fan of Hazel Irvine's pant suits. At least Balding shows a bit of muscular flesh.
 
Where as Sissoko isn't a bad player(not worth 30m) i can't see where he will fit in unless he plays him on the right,better players out there.
 
Williams. Gueye. Bolasie. Potential of Kone, now Sissoko. Not sure if Koeman or Clarkson..
