IF you could get that level of consistancy out of him he'd be a good buy, but koemans taking a big gamble with his ability to do that with getting him and bolasie in when we already have a fair few he needs to find consistency already.

If a team plays to Bentekes strengths he is a hell of a player. Don't get me wrong, I'd still prefer Lukaku but I wouldn't judge Benteke on one crap season with the sh1te.

Signing Benteke would surely signal the exit for Lukaku though? It would be like Walter Smiths 'Bruise brothers' of Campell and Ferguson playing up front

Gueye's, bolasie, sissoko? Koeman obviously is concerned there is a lack of 'legs' and pace in the team. He has given others the opportunity to show it during pre-season, but hasn't been impressed, he is now addressing those concerns.

Unless ofc Koeman really can get the best out of them, which is an unknown, seems to be a bit of a marmite coach in the past - players either get on board or fall out with his methods
