Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Think its funny that sky sports dramatising the naismith deal saying late interest from swansea almost ruined the deal etc

if the lad had an injury then they have just waited for it to heal up before doing the medical, open and shut case of the delay tbh.

Aaaannnndddd Everton

In fairness, he has gone on to then say he fully expects the deal to go through and says that Everton are pushing very hard to get it wrapped up quickly.

Also, Leeds always expected Byram in training this morning. Training will last what, 2-3 hours? Could easily sign today if it went through, though I do think the talk of a medical being passed was a bit premature, believe it was just talks yesterday.

And that bloke (whoever he is) seems to be the only person saying anything about the whole thing.

Yeh think he has been pretty up to date with it all in fairness, though it wasn't him who broke the original story - that was a BBC Leeds reporter.

I suppose it's a case of 'watch this space' but I still think we're in pole position, but if he has other options you'd expect him to consider them.

very happy with that naismith fee, people fretted in the summer saying we were stupid to turn it down because we'd never get close to that amount again.

is rice, been a very good bit of business.

Naismith is a big game player, most of his goals have been scored against Arsenal, Chelsea, City, United or Liverpool. He's been a good player for us, good time for him to move on though with him being almost 30. Hopefully we get a replacement.
naismith is probably one of the best finishers i have seen which is mad to say. Probably more than lukaku, naismith hits the back of the net when given the chances to which hopefully will keep norwich up from now on. Technically if we played naismith as a false 9 and just put the ball into those spaces all game long for him to pop up i'd imagine he would score more than he did, but as a team player i think he was a massive weakness by this season came about (minus chelsea obviously).
