Think it's naive to say let's not sign Hart as stekelenburg has had a good start to the season...we've seen robles have good games, Howard started last season well etc...we still need to bring in a keeper so they can push each other on.

Think it's just a question of could the Hart money be better spent elsewhere? If the answer is yes, and we're comfortable with Steks, strengthen elsewhere. We clearly need another midfielder and a second striker IMO.

Was never good enough for us at any time.

Howard when he came was excellent and was generally a very good goalkeeper for many years. Unfortunately the last 2/3 years of being awful seems to allow those to forget that he was an excellent keeper for us for a long period.

I had wanted him gone many a time before he finally left, but don't pretend he wasn't generally solid for many years.
