Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Here's something i find really really strange, When Everton win and the same weekend Liverppol get embaressed, some posters on here either go missing compltetely or there post count trickles away to almost nothing, yet same posters seem to be out in force if we get a bad result or the rs have a good one.

Most strange really, can't fathom the reason at all
Sapie is one of them

Seems to be a consensus that we still need quite a few signings. This really is a pivotal time for the club to step up, not bothered about marquee names but need the options/cover where appropriate.

Hope Everton are on the same track and that most of us will be pleased with what transpires. We deserve to gorge on some signings.

Think everyone can see we need at least a good level striker, another cm who can pass the ball a bit and give us a serious option to Barry should he need to rest or his form goes/age, oh a Big lump of a cb.

A few spots we thought we had a huge need for don't look so clear cut anymore - Keeper - Stek looks more than capable of beign the number 1 and rb backup - similarly Holgate looks a very capable backup to Coleman.

Seems we are gonna get that Big powerful cb in with Kone (fingers crossed), and we are adding another wigner/number 10 hybrid maybe in the lad from France. So add to that a Striker who gives us options when Roms out/off form or qwe wanna play two up top, and another quality cm (Schneiderlin etc) and we'd look pretty damned solid throughout the team really

EDIT: oh yeah and some amazing signing out the blue costing 50-60m wouldnt upset me either lol

Hangovers

We still need to get rid of a lot of dead wood.

Niasse
Kone
McGeady
Cleverley

All need to go and replaced with players who can contribute enough to be in the squad.

Dream scenario would probably be:
Hart
Ghezzal
Mata
Carvalho/Witsel
Bony
Kone

I don't think we need a new RB as Holgate probably deserves a chance there if we play 4 at the back.
If we win all our games between now and the window shutting it will definitely make us a lot more attractive as we would probably be sitting in the top 4.

Missed out Gibson as one of the leavers.

Gibson with hindsight has been a complete waste of space and should have have been shown the door when he crashed his motor whilst in a drunken stupor.

I don't buy all this he is so talented business.

He ain't earned his corn and therefore as I said has been a waste of resources.

Kone, Schneiderlin, Bony and Hart would be amazing.

All should be gettable too.

It would help for sure. Players we're approaching must be put off by the two previous league finishes, so if we can get up there as much as possible it's a bonus.

Interesting though as Spurs who finished 3rd and have CL this season and the "London factor" which is apparently so important, seemingly haven't been able to attract any top class players.

Shows how difficult the market is at the moment.

Still really hoping that we bring in Mata, a player like that in terms of both ability/stature is a real boost.

Does not live an athlete's life, unacceptable these days, the game is too fast and physical for ale houses at the top level.
