Ok so I'm at The Hilton, keeping my eyes peeled, just having breakfast.
Everybody so far has ordered a full English breakfast, apart from one guy. Foreign accent,,Mid twenties, dressed head to toe in orange, has ordered some Edam, Gouda and has asked for some fries with mayonnaise.

No sign of anyone Dutch yet though. Will keep you informed.

Is there a way of putting a warning on a thread when it's descended into puns, @GrandOldTeam? Like, could it flash red until it's stopped? Live updates kind of thing, like a departures board? Would be a public service and I would happily buy a mug to make it happen.

With all the links to players we are hearing methinks that we are positioning ourselves for a deadline day burst. Hart for instance is a perfect example. Express interest and then say do one your too expensive. If he doesn't move by deadline day then re-approach when the pressure is on.

Hart and other city players need to get in the real world. Nowhere else (bar possibly China) are they going to get the same wages that they are on at City. Either city pay a proportion of their wages or the players dropping their wage demands are the only way clubs can afford these players.
