Ghezzal rejected Lyon's contract offer? Where does he want to go then to play Champion's League football when his current team is already doing that? I say we make a bigger offer to him and try and get him to help build our future.

Kone to me is 50/50 and will probably go to the deadline.

Any rumours of other offers?

Running down a contract and leaving on a free is not good behaviour or honourable in the slightest. Pre Bosman ruling the club would hold your registration until they got the players value or a new deal was agreed.

Sport operates very differently to other work agreements.

Good answer. I was just curious. Blame the agents , think a lot of players are totally misguided- so it's difficult to judge whether a player such as Witzel is mercenary?

Simply incredible. Take yer misery blinkers off mate. And the rest of the warchest denial brigade.

Let me spell it out for ya...

Spent:
£85m investment in club shares
£10m to sack Martinez
£5m to buy Koeman
£3m to buy Walsh
£20m to buy land for new stadium
£25m for Bolasie
£7m for Gana
£12m for Williams
So far...

Incoming:
£47.5m for Stones

Rough net investment by Moshiri to date before bids we know of (another 20-25m?), potential last day transfer dealings and before accounting for Sky money...

£120m.

Shoot me down if it's not penny perfect, but you get the gist.

Don't forget the cladding!

I think it's funny when you put bedwetters on ignore and flick through the forum in the coming days to see people replying to nobody... Then Derek Acorah shows up as a user... lol

Until the stadium is announced or the transfer window is over, I'll resort to entertaining myself in small ways like this. It's less stress :D

Quiet isn't it?
