Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Have to be honest, I'm happy with the players we've brought in , but the fact we've not spent a penny of our own money says to me it's been a real poor transfer window.

Record season tickets, record tv deals, new mega rich owner......Where's the marquee signings. Why haven't we brought more players in. It's a bit of a mess. And right now I'd have to say that The board an Steve walsh has really let Koeman down.

I can't really see us spending much now. And question will have to be answered.

.....been out and about but looking at the latest links;

We are looking to sign Manolo Gabbidini and Lucas Perez.
Sirigo, the PSG goalie we were interested in has gone to Sevilla.
Cuco Martina is on his way from Soton.

Something strange I have noticed. The perceived ITKs on here, TEF and elsewhere, they all have said less and less ( to the point of silence) as the end of the window has approached whereas one would expect it to the be the other way around.
Because they got attacked when circumstances out of their control had changed. The praise when it's right isn't worse the abuse when it's wrong. Money talks, people change.

James Vaughan has just signed for Bury. Real shame for the lad that he was made of glass because he could have been a really good player for us. Always gave 100% and in fact often gave too much going into tackles he shouldnt have when he was making his way back from injuries. Hope he can get some regular injury free football and build his way back through the leagues.

Absolutely blows my mind to think Anichebe is having a more successful career than he is after how they both looked when coming into the team here.

I foresee no more incomings till deadline day and pages of angst and woe as folk panic.

Vault me if I"m wrong.

Relax until deadline day and stock up on booze to either celebrate an ace day or to drown your sorrows.

I'm definitely wobbling now, my head will fall off soon if no striker is purchased, I must be honest.

...it's gonna be like the build up to millennium eve all over again, load of tits stock-piling bread and nails and tinned fruit.

Then nothing of any note'll happen.

;)

It's got to that point in the window where agents, clubs and players are playing a game of chicken. We've all been here before and know how it works. Chances are nothing will happen till deadline day when there'll be three incomings and one outgoing.

The numbers are just guesswork, but probably won't be far off.
