Just waiting for the " we,'ll go again in January" when we all know the main event of transfer Windows gets done in the summer.

We've signed 4 players, a new manager and DoF; we'll probably add another 2 at minimum before the window. Squad will be stronger than the start of the window, with a more astute manager, a management team in place, a stronger organised defence and a quite dangerous attack.

Can't see why we'll be going again in January

Yep that narrative has been slowly creeping in as the days count down.

As much as I agree Stoke has a very high human/mutant ratio in it's general population, which one of the following is in the CL?

...seems none of that counts though Chris eh, because we haven't jizzed mad cash on an unproven suppppeeeer-star yet all of the above is null.

And we had such a boss record with unproven foreigners last season too.

Can I just suggest I doubt Romelu would change his stance unless there was concrete evidence of progression. There are reasons to believe next week might be ground changing. Koeman said it himself; "On 1st September everyone will know the Squad of Everton".
