Goalkeeping situation is just odd, surely Koeman can't see Stek as the future solution, even if he is in good form now.

Why? He has played for big clubs like Ajax and Roma and still has a few seasons in him.

In the past we were sell to buy, now we sell to improve and it's noticeable, dead wood out and improve the squad, we're in the process of doing that. We haven't missed Stones but the players brought in have already made their mark. Hopefully there's more to come, we're not quite there yet but it's early days, this is Koeman's first window.

I don't think we ever would have missed Stones, has the potential to be a great player but £47m for us right now is far better than just potential and TBH he seemed a bit of a liability especially with Jags, Williams will be much more solid even if just for a couple of years.
