You don't need a bank to sign a contract, you only need one to transfer the funds. Just as there is nothing preventing people from buying anything else on a bank holiday. Besides, regardless of what day it is, I would imagine there would a clause written in stating something like, the contract was dependant upon certain requirements, like a certain amount being deposited within a particular time frame. One day of no banking is not going to stop that. Bottom line, keep your heads on.

It is about to get interesting..... I think most would agree that the positions most in need of attention (in no particular order) are: ST, CB, GK, CM and possibly AM.

Gabbiadini is a ST link, but him aside the only links with any "legs" seems to be for Kone, who it now appears is unlikely to leave and Brahimi, who plays a position where we seem to be comfortably stocked.

So - either not much is about to happen or rabbits are coming out of hats....

Almost feels like the plan is to go back after a target or two from earlier in the season or see if some of the better positioned clubs are shedding players we might be interested in....
