We have also moved out 4 and are trying to move out another 3. That's 7 players not including McCarthy, Cleverly, Gibson, Kone and probably a few others.

5 players is unrealistic now but if we had time I would want GK, CB, CM, ST and play maker.

Goals change games as well, until the pen we battered them mate and after took the foot off and went more defensive late in because we had the lead, stoke where lucky the game didn't finish 2 or 3 -0 but strangely you do t see that.

I didn't say we were lucky. I said on another day because we couldn't create enough chances to kill the game off we would at some point in the season be unlucky and Stoke would have nicked a goal or even worse.

I agree with that. Think we will get 2 or 3 by the close, depending on luck. Whatever it is will have to do.

I don't want us spending money for the sake of it. It's madness. We should only go after our targets, if not then then wait till Jan and work with what we have.

Doesn't matter how often they played and we did rely on Howard. He started the season as first choice No 1.

Osman and Hibbert were also either first choice backups for their position or saw a reasonable amount of minutes.

Our squad is too big but that's because we haven't unloaded those players I listed not because we don't need more.

We need to increase our wage bill for STCC. For that reason alone we need to sign more players and signing in January doesn't help because it will only increase our wage bill by half of their full contract, a contract we will then have to meet in full next season. In fact it could force us to sell players in the summer.

Of course this is true. Luck always comes into it but the more you are able to kill teams the less luck you need.

Do you understand football? There is an obvious improvement defensively already, and throughout the season this & our fitness will only get better.

I think that poster only understands opening a new account once an old one has been banned, and also being negative. That's about it.
