Stoke created nothing mate and we dominated the game, the pen was lucky but the goal was coming from 20 mins in as we cranked the pressure up on them constantly from that point, we don't get the pen then we would have kept pushing rather than switching to protect the result and think we score anyway.

Cheers for update mate. I got texts off match going mates saying things like "more solid", deserved 3 points, good signs, Gana is the business, etc etc". So that'll do for me. Saw the pen and yes it was lucky, but we've had 2 seasons of being very unlucky. Will be checking in to GOT reguarly over next 3 days for good news (hopefully).

What annoys me is we have had a great season so far and the lack of striking options, goalkeeper and squad depth will ruin it. We have a great first team but they can't play every game!

Exactly. If Barry, Baines, Lukaku or one of the CBs, Williams and Jags is out we will struggle and if they are out for a long time it will ruin our season.

So let's buy another winger.

I could be way off (and probably will be).

I'm not hyping up or gonna get down about it if it doesn't work out like that - gonna wait and see and let the dust settle.

You know team pampers were right all along and now are trying to lessen expectations so you can claim the window as a positive.

Honestly lad I would spend £40m on him, no other striker apart from Aguero comes near him for me. Obviously 10-15 games wouldn't be enough but I'd be delighted to get him.

Utd and City are done. Arsenal probably done too after Perez and Mustafi.

Us, Spurs and Chelsea might buy a couple players, and Utds and City's players who can't even make the squad will probably leave.

Are Spurs or Liverpool even in for anyone?

The only reason why people think we are going to spend is because it's the last day and they are still clinging on to the last embers of hope.

I think we will get two and even that might be optimistic.

They hit the bar and Walters missed an empty net from 6 yards out in the middle of the goal. We were the better team but we were still lucky because we didn't create enough chances to kill the game.

Plenty of games like that this season will end either as 0-0 or 0-1.

Plenty of games like that end up 3-0 or 3-1. We were by far the better side.

Sissoko is a rotten fraud who basically watched the team he played for get relegated,now am not saying it was his fault but someone of his ability could have done a lot more in that situation.

Couldn't we say the same about Gueye for villa. Look at mirrallas under Martinez. Players have to be managed correctly and Newcastle is a circus. No one played well for Newcastle

Chances that you thought were we should have scored. Even the goal came from nothing.

We have brought 4 played, promoted two in holgate and Davies and yes you want another 5 players so basically you want a new team.

If you win a game when as you yourself said we where the better team then it's not lucky mate.

Goals change games as well, until the pen we battered them mate and after took the foot off and went more defensive late in because we had the lead, stoke where lucky the game didn't finish 2 or 3 -0 but strangely you do t see that.
