Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Not too fussed about the willingness to spend money, all about if we actually do.

You can't spend money on a player who doesn't want to be here.

So far we have spent money - more money than we have in a window for a long time, regardless of the Stones sale.

The reason why it's important is because it shows the owner is doing his job and investing in the club. Given it's Moshiri's first window is it any surprise it's an even bigger issue than normal.
Putting the money up is the main thing, giving the manager financial maneuverability is important as well. the owner comes into his own when the manager can sign who they want for whatever the fee is (within reason) and can then match the wage demands of the player.

Considering how many financial obligations he has here, are you really expecting Moshiri to go out and spend 100 million of his own money? Name one person without that much disposable income who has ever done that?

So they should take that money and spend it on our plan B.

Not simply go "Sorry lads we tried but that's how the cookie crumbles".

I think we were in for Witsel and then Carvalho and then we bought Gueye just in case you are wondering. That's one transfer. What about the rest of the money?

It's perfectly clear (to use your favourite phrase) that if we now went out and spent £75m on Brett angell, Geoff Nulty and dean windass you'd be happy because then we'd have spent money.

Moronic.

Don't know whats worse on here, people moaning about transfers or people moaning about the moaning people on transfers

chill your bean lads, gonna sign some boss players before the window shuts BELIEVE

Stop moaning about people moaning about people moaning.

And no... I'm not moaning.

Me too mate. He's not 100% fit I don't think and should not have featured in the Euros, but he's a creative player who's experienced and I cannot believe he's only 24.
Think he'd be great in tandem with or in place of Barkley at times.
Great minds mate. For 12 months seems a no brainer
