True, but he was also playing under absolutely appalling managers. He's no angel, in fact he sounds like a bit of a tit ('waiting for Real Madrid'), but you could accuse 80% of that Newcastle side over the last 4 or 5 years of poor attitude. There was something badly wrong up there.
