Everton Transfer Thread 2016

I think he's bang average mate, a slightly better version of mcgeady IMO. And one goal is awful for an attacking wide player kone & Naismith have more in less games.

Mirallas is twice the player, but would we get 20mil for him

Yes, but Montero is left sided, Mirallas, McGeady, Lennon and Del Boy, are all right footed, right sided players, it would be good to have someone naturally left sided

I like Begovic and Ospina, Butland + Ter Stegen would be great but no chance we're getting either, Pantilimon isn't good enough. The rest I haven't seen enough to judge. I do like the look of Declan Rudd though, don't think he'd cost too much yet.

imagine what it would have been like on here when you could buy players up to march or whatever, permanent transfer thread lol

How do you mean ?

from premier league -

What was life like for Premier League clubs before the transfer window?

Players could be traded throughout the season up until March 31. Beyond that it was felt that allowing transfers could undermine the integrity of competitions.

For example, a team going for the title might suddenly acquire players from a club with nothing to play for at the end of the season on short-term contracts, not something that was really in the spirit of a season-long league competition. But the rest of the season you could lose, or gain, a player at point.
