really wanted him to join because decent backup but don't want to look

but there were reasons obviously first team football but it's still true

im not made up he joined WHU because we've got hibbo at rb
and then oviedo whos a lb. or stones who's a cb.

I think there are only a very few people saying that they're "made up that we didn't get him"
Vast majority accept his decision and the reasons behind it.

Byram is from Thurrock, his family are down there, two or three members of his family are WHU season ticket holders, they move to the Olympic Stadium next season, I can fully see why he chose WHU !!

Genuine question:

If you were offered the chance to go to two clubs and one was offering you a more realistic opportunity of first team football and the other wanted you to go and prove yourself and learn from one of the best right backs in the league...which would you choose?

If the stories of him being a boyhood hammer are true i can't blame him going there no matter what we said to him. I'd like to think if i was a footballer i'd pick Everton over any club that came calling no matter what the other club may offer me.
But without my blue tinted glasses on I'd chose the team where i'd learn from the best but i'd go looking to prove a point that i can hold me own with the best. If Byram didn't have the mentality then he's no big loss in my opinion
