But we HAVE come out stronger! We signed a defender we won't see for about two years and a Swiss lad we loaned straight back! I mean..we subtracted a first team player and didn't replace him but...YOUTH!

My favorite was that Van Winkle guy from Norwich. Only goal scored in hisPL career.

I think nothing will be done this window. Martinez can never come out and say that but has said recently his current squad is big enough to handle the rest of the season.

It's is going to be a very busy summer though so he better have everything in place. He needs to know who is leaving or wants to leave. Get their replacements in asap and then get rid of those who are defo going.

I hope he does everything to hang on to lukaku . He would be impossible to replace. The others like stones and barkley ..well I think we could replace them by spending decent money. Would be great to keep them. Lukaku no way. We would find it impossible or near impossible to being in a 20+ goal a year front man.

Get rid of mcgeady/gibson/howard/kone/osman.without doubt. They are not top 6 players. They fail to add anything worthwhile to squad. Martinez keeps saying howard etc are so important to the dressing room. YA.... well show me the proof for last 2 seasons. We have shown no winning mentality what so ever so whatever he thinks these players offer off or on the pitch he is totally wrong.

Euros at summer so it gonna be a crazy July as squad needs to be overhauled with above dribble or we are going nowhere.

Don't think a loan this window that important. We gonna finish mid table anyway.

Kone will be with us next season, no doubt about it. He only signed a contract extension a few months ago. You can add Pienaar and hibbert to your list though.

Looked top class a few years ago but just seems to have regressed. A big powerful player but one of those that switches off all too often for me. We've got enough of them already!

I think it's easy to get lost in the shuffle at Tottenham, especially for a centre midfielder (Capoue is another one). He's still only 26, too.

Maybe you're right about his concentration, but I can't say it's something I've ever noticed. He always looked class whenever he played at Goodison.

Seen a stat regarding Townsend the other day were he has had over 100 shots from outside the area in the league and only scored 3 of them.

Don't know if it has already been mentioned on here but according to the Portugese press we had a bid of £14 million for Sporting's striker Slimani turned down today.

He has a £17 million release clause but that is only active in the summer.

this would suggest to me that Rom is definately off in the summer , they both player in a similar way.

I very much doubt that would be the reason, we stood our ground in the summer with Stones and have kept him another year if he doesn't go in the next day or so,which I doubt (but after his transfer request I wanted him gone and still do), if Lukaku kicks up in the summer we will do the same and reject a transfer request, im pretty certain we will have one more year we Lukaku, unless we get offered ridiculous money. But we have no chance keeping any of our top players long term, unless Martinez management skill rapidly improve or he is replaced.

I expect them all to be here unfortunately yep I'd add them too. Barry too. Good enough season but nowhere near a top 6 player. Totally over rated by his manager. Good enough meaning a mid table player which is exactly where we are. If he is walking into the team and being playing every minute of every match we will be a mid table team next year too. For god sake tell me Hibbert isn't getting paid still.
