Who none of us have ever seen play as well.

The same people will be moaning that clubs in Holland, Spain and Portugal seem to be able to unearth undiscovered gems from South America and we always miss the boat.
It think you've missed the obvious humorous nature of the posts lad.

Should we be actively looking for a replacement for Besic? He's actually important to our team now and he's turning out to be a crock unfortunately.

Are we at that stage with Besic where we think he's the new Gibson then? I agree it's frustrating but I hope to God we aren't writing him off just yet.

Serious question: We've seen a fee come in for Naismith (perhaps not the full amount in the headlines; but with additional payments later). Other players going out (McGeady). No one coming in.

Why has there been no much needed signings?

@davek and @The Esk : We have the money available.

There are presently 2 days 8 hours and 5 minutes left to sign someone.

Still waiting here.

Checking Soccerway, our new Carlos Kickaball has started every match in Ecuador's six-match winning streak they are currently on, including a 2-0 victory over Argentina. He usually plays as a second striker/attacking midfielder, and occasionally starts up top alongside last week's Carlos Kickaball, Felipe Caicedo.

Their season does not start until next weekend, and Emelec won the league last season.

I do love a Carlos Kickaball...

Exactly what we need really....in terms of position at least. Competition for Barkley and Lukaku and of course Kone.

I genuinely have no idea who he is. I've never heard of him, never seen him play. Don't have a clue.

Just based on his stats, he seems to score a lot of goals (in the Ecuadorian Serie A) and looks to play regularly for an Ecuador side on a very good run.

But, he could be tosh. He's also being linked with Brighton, Villarreal and Espanyol.

Not that is looks likely to be concern us much if at all but when does the transfer window officially close, does it stretch into Mon 1st Feb?
