Don't want him back, was a great player when he started off at 16 for us, but United signed him at 18 and his career went from strength to strength. Too old and has not enough pace anymore, was terrible against Norwich city yesterday. Rather sign Gomes from Swansea city.Rooney would be a terrible signing. United won't sell him on the cheap. He'd still command a transfer fee of around 30 million, and then you have his astronomical wages to pay on top.
