Reading had a £400k bid refused in Jan so i think it would be more likely £1mil

There is absolutely no way that a club with financial difficulties, who have just been relegated to League 1, would turn down a £10 million bid for one of its players

in pre-season for man utd he was on fire, he was amazing at psv and don't forget that in the early stages of the champions league he rescued man utd at times.

he's a talented player who has not been used properly at man utd

we should either try to sign or loan him next season as I dont think he's a preferred first choice player anymore with martial, lingard, rooney, mata and rashford leading the attack.

Wages going to be a huge stumbling block, especially when the Chinese would probably up his wages to more than he's on now at Man U to get him over there.

If we sign Rooney the perception, correctly, is that everton is getting MUs cast off-we become a pre retirement jaunt for old stars who can't make it in the top premier league clubs. He would be OK as a squad player and back up striker but I would hope that we buy a better or equal striker with a few more years left in him.

Don't want him back, was a great player when he started off at 16 for us, but United signed him at 18 and his career went from strength to strength. Too old and has not enough pace anymore, was terrible against Norwich city yesterday. Rather sign Gomes from Swansea city.
