I don't think you understand where I'm coming from. I would love it if we were top and amazing and in the CL every year but I also don't understand why loads of our fans think we should be just because we were more than 30 years ago.

FWIW the Brazilian keeper Perri has an Italian passport so would fall under whatever post Brexit work permit type rules get applied for EU nationals (& whatever exemptions football can ‘negotiate’ with the shower in charge).

Grealish looks a decent player but not for the 60+mill Villa will be looking for.
