Sorry if it's been said, I haven't seen it but with Covid when is the transfer window supposed to open?

Premier League Shareholders have agreed on the dates for the summer 2020 transfer window.

The window will open for 10 weeks at the end of the current Premier League season, starting on 27 July and ending on 5 October.

Following consultation with the EFL, a domestic-only window will be added from 5 October, closing 17:00 BST on 16 October.

During this window, Premier League clubs will only be able to trade with EFL clubs (either loans or permanent registrations).

No transfers can take place between Premier League clubs in this period.

The transfer window is subject to the approval of FIFA.

We need a revolving door more than a window.

Dalot is utter tosh mate - the other fella sounds alright though.
Is the Lyon RB any good would rather take a punt on him than another United squad player...?

Tete is a good all rounder. Id have gone for him when he was at Ajax. Wont be brilliant but we could probably get him for £5-10mil and he'd be someone who could drop down to 2nd choice / rotation in a season as we move Coleman on.

Dalot is quality as an attacking player and still only 21. Probably similar to Aarons i suppose in terms of potential. Id actually like to see him come in on loan with a view to buy and play right wing for us.

He's fast, has tricks and crossing is brilliant.

I think he'd be ideal for us on the right wing. High energy and can track back as well.

Could get both for a £10mil or lower outlay

Brands has done a terrible job so Ancelotti has come in to make sure he doesn’t land us with another load of crap this summer.

....the Echo quotes Ancelotti as saying they have a very good relationship. Their offices are close by and they talk every day. All transfers have to be agreed and signed-off by them both.

Ancelotti has negotiated the likes of Bayern, Real, Chelsea and Napoli. He knows how to deal in places far trickier politically than Everton to get his opinion across. Brands also strikes me as having a strong footballing opnion and the ability to make his case heard. I suspect that their relationship could be quite heated at times but in an amicable way.

Ancelotti because of his track record I support 100%. Brands after his initial good start has not really caught fire but the DoF role takes several years to bed in and he is still hampered with previous regimes' players not being readily transferable out. Obviously we aren't privy to the transfer budget but this upcoming transfer window will be critical, not just in improving the rather underwhelming midfield, but also in showing Ancelotti, us the fans, and the wider footballing world that we mean business. We have a good opportunity here to do that by splashing the cash or by trading sensibly - hopefully a bit of both. This is however Everton ...
