Well, can't begrudge that if so.

Arsenal are massive in Africa. My partner was teaching in Uganda a few years a go and she said there were loads of people in old Arsenal shirts and in the 'pubs' and 'bars' they always had old Arsenal Champions league games on.

More along the lines of there are dozens of other "top" clubs in Europe that could have been more attractive to a kid. Juve/Inter/Milan/Barcelona/Real/etc. But @MarcelsGoat did call the timeline being about right for those Invincibles so could see that.

Went to Kenya a few years back and it was arsenal everywhere.
