Anybody think Tim Krul could be a good option. Player of the season at Norwich so would provide good competition. Was well thought of before a bad injury at Newcastle but has recovered. 32 is not a bad age for a keeper

People seem to think he would play wide right or left, for us.

I think the view is that in our 442 defensive setup he would occupy the left mid position.

When we attack he would move towards the space between the CF / CM as somewhat of a 10.

Yeah, he's played in the left midfield/wing quite often this year. But he hasn't played on the right side of midfield for us in a while.

Im actually looking forward to seeing what Carlo might do, with some returning players, i think he has already developed the likes of Holgate, Gordon and Branthwaite. Could he do anything with say Kenny or Dowell? Be interesting, dare i mention long shots like Bolaise or Sandro.

No thanks. Picks needs an upgrade but he’s not it. Rather search abroad for someone showing well in a lower league.

Mosh / Big Uzzie haven’t been shy in terms of bolstering the balance sheet with cash so far. There’s every chance they could do so again this window.

£125m of players on 5 year deals equates to a P&L and thus FFP impact of £25m per annum.

Thats my understanding of it too.

I just don't think we will spend as much as that. Its an awful lot of money and we've gone nowhere in the last few years with that sort of spending.
