We’ve already shifted circa £13-15m a year off our wage bill though.
Also you’re missing his point. In terms of the annual cost of the additional amortisation in the accounts he’s absolutely correct.
He never said they didn’t though.I know what he means.
But those players still have to be paid for.
He never said they didn’t though.
People seem to think he would play wide right or left, for us.
Yeah, he's played in the left midfield/wing quite often this year. But he hasn't played on the right side of midfield for us in a while.I think the view is that in our 442 defensive setup he would occupy the left mid position.
When we attack he would move towards the space between the CF / CM as somewhat of a 10.

Nah, game over for Bolasie and Sandro. Get them outta here.Im actually looking forward to seeing what Carlo might do, with some returning players, i think he has already developed the likes of Holgate, Gordon and Branthwaite. Could he do anything with say Kenny or Dowell? Be interesting, dare i mention long shots like Bolaise or Sandro.
No thanks. Picks needs an upgrade but he’s not it. Rather search abroad for someone showing well in a lower league.Anybody think Tim Krul could be a good option. Player of the season at Norwich so would provide good competition. Was well thought of before a bad injury at Newcastle but has recovered. 32 is not a bad age for a keeper

He implies that selling a player for 25m means we can spend 125m.
Ah nevermind, lets sell Richarlison for 25m and buy another 4.

Technically he’s correct though.
Mosh / Big Uzzie haven’t been shy in terms of bolstering the balance sheet with cash so far. There’s every chance they could do so again this window.
£125m of players on 5 year deals equates to a P&L and thus FFP impact of £25m per annum.
Thats my understanding of it too.
I just don't think we will spend as much as that. Its an awful lot of money and we've gone nowhere in the last few years with that sort of spending.
