Technically he’s correct though.

Mosh / Big Uzzie haven’t been shy in terms of bolstering the balance sheet with cash so far. There’s every chance they could do so again this window.

£125m of players on 5 year deals equates to a P&L and thus FFP impact of £25m per annum.
I think the point is that’s on top of all the other repayments were already making. I don’t know what headroom we have there.

Yes, but when you sell a player for 25m, its not all paid in 1 instalment.

With regards FFP, to a degree his statement is correct.

But factor in Agents fees and replacing the wages of 1, with the wages of 5 players and it looks less solid.

And yes I'm aware we have LOTS of wages we could get off the books to make up the difference.

And surely it depends WHICH player we sell for 25m, I mean we ain't getting it, but if we sold Iwobi for 25m for example, none of that is FFP profit.

Indeed, we are still paying for players we bought 2 or 3 years ago and the players bought in this window would impact on future windows.

As a one off, in insolation, it would work.

The terms of payment are irrelevant to how it’s accounted for in terms of the amortisation.

We’ve already shed the best part of £15m p.a. of wages.

If we sold no one, the net cost to the P&L would be £25m in the scenario we’re talking about.

Hasn’t USM just paid £30m for rights to the stadium naming rights? Just saying.

Basically they can make the numbers fit should they CHOOSE to invest this summer, that’s the point. One that Esk continually ignores and has done since the day Mosh arrived.

And I agree.

Esk is 100% correct, there is no money in the business, as a business we are a busted flush.

But that has been the case for the last few years, in that time Moshiri has given us 350m in interest free loans and allowed us to spend, he has ploughed vast sums in via USM and other companies, I see no reason why he would appoint Carlo and give him Ross Barkley money to spend.

He will get creative, like he always do.

How does a kid from Ghana grow up a boyhood Arsenal lad? That's odd...

Well, can't begrudge that if so.
Maybe it was around the time of the invincibles, that Arsenal team with Henry in was something special, for a young lad looking for a team they would stand out.

But the story is in The Express, hardly a good source.
