Signing 4 players for 30m costs us 120m, not 30m, plus around another 15-20m a year in wages.

So 4 players costs us 220m, spread over 5 years.

I think my stance this summer is to not get excited about anyone we sign because they could be a world beater but as soon as they arrive at Goodison they forget how to play football.

Im actually looking forward to seeing what Carlo might do, with some returning players, i think he has already developed the likes of Holgate, Gordon and Branthwaite. Could he do anything with say Kenny or Dowell? Be interesting, dare i mention long shots like Bolaise or Sandro.
