Semedo- definitely yes but at 40M out of our range
Umtiti- a lot of money for 5 games a season
Todibo- doesn't seem good enough yet
Firpo- do we need a 20M+ back up for Digne?
Vidal- great, but quite old and expensive
Alena- no problems at all if fee reasonable
Rafinha- has been excellent when fit this year. Good age and a super player but too many risks on fitness.
Rakitic- see Vidal. Doubt he'd come
Dembele- see Umtiti
Braithwaite- he is OK, but 15-20M for a player who is never going to be more than backup is steep.
Coutinho- would be great but on about 350K per week and big transfer fee... Seems impossible. James Rodriguez for a third of the transfer fee and currently on half the wages much more likely

Get rid of Brands?? What are you talking about? He's one of the most important parts of the whole Everton machine and his relationship with our manager is key. I've seen some very foolish posts on here and on twitter about DOFs in last five years, no matter who it is, the fan doesn't get it. No Brands, no Ancelotti, Brands got him in on the project!

But I dont claim to be in the know like he does, I just have opinions and my opinion is given we have already bid 14m for a player and are looking at circa 20m for two others it's a fair assumption we have more in the kitty than 25m no? I could be wrong.

Injuries for Rafihna... Just terrible injury problems. Has everything still to be a big success in the premier league or wherever but how do you price a player that has had his problems? As I said earlier, probably played around 25 games this year at a really good level. Hope things work out for him...

Coutinho I reckon is just too expensive. His salary is 18M€ per year and he cost them what, 130M or so? Even at 25% of that you are talking big money with the salary. Difficult for a club like us... Maybe United
