I know I'll get some flack for typing this, but Danny Ings is a great goal scorer, we should go in for him.

I also can't understand the Arias link─I'm sure he's a decent player but I'd rather give Kenny another year, a local lad on a lower wage, unless the manager is thinking of shifting Coleman? I wouldn't be surprised if he was.

Doubt we will sign Ings. Mainly as we aren't likely to be in the market for a striker. The Ings link was just a wind up on twitter as far as I know to get people to nibble!! Clearly worked !!

...I’d have him back in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for his injury record. He was terrific for Lukaku, carries genuine threat and creativity. I can see him linking really well with Richarlison. Saying that, it ain’t going to happen.

Has the fitness levels of an Obese 7-year old.

Remember playing Watford one season away and after 15 mins, he had his hands on his knees and was blowing steam.

Nostalgic and that goal against Arsenal was sublime but he’s not good enough.

Florenzi played his best when in centre mid for me when he was at Roma, can play their rightback and wing back, ain't saw him play at Valencia
Strange thing about Florenzi is that he was (maybe still is ) Roma captain but then they loaned him to Valencia!
Not sure why, but they obviously thought highly enough to give him captaincy in the first place.
He seems a good solid pro to me who can play a few positions so I'd be happy to have him on board.

The way we are now I’m just hoping we do enough in the market to get 42 points next season.
Anything else would be a bonus.

Genuinely, look at the market in general: how many other clubs have made any if all of their signings? It's early days and yes there'll be peaks and troughs...

..., but we have Carlo at the reigns, which must give us optimism. Let's judge at the close of the window, aye?

My thoughts exactly but with a rice paper midfield and the relegated teams showing more effort and guile than us, we need a good window

He could whip a ball into the danger area alright - something we have missed since down the right side - but I seem to remember no one ever getting on the end of them.

...really not sure Ings is the right type for us. He’s clever and relies on players picking out the little runs he makes off defenders shoulder. Ward-Prowse is a good foil for him, not sure our central midfield play ‘between the lines’ in the same way.
Hopefully with Allan we'll have such a player
