I get what youre saying like, if we dont give them the chance then we'll never know. But I just think the margin for error is so small in the prem that teams arent willing to take those sort of chances on a youngster being sink or swim

I do think they will try to bring an experienced goalkeeper that will provide genuine competition for Pickford... something he badly needs.

Yeah no names at all just supposedly want a new keeper and Lossl wants out. Personally I think foster/romero but we’ll see.

I'd love to know what they deem as "experienced goalkeeper". We had Steklenburg who was a keeper for Ajax, Roma, Monaco, Fulham and Southampton. And another keeper who has played for Mainz, Huddersfield and...kind of...us.

Not in any way am I or was I advocating but Joe Hart was available as well, would he not be "experienced"?

I agree 100% someone needs to come in but if the end result is Pickford just staying in net every single match regardless of alllll of his cockups and the like, whats the point?
