No, he wants carlo to write the theme tune, sing the theme tune.

Obviously carlo has no social life and he'd accept two people's jobs at the same time which would mean he'd be working 24/7.

Its not hard with technology these days, he's got a phone and a monitor, he can call agents whilst he's watching the players train. He's just got to say "excuse me" a lot of times on the phone whilst he's talking to the coaching staff and players. Easy.

It’s the same every year this. We are absolute crap in pre season but if you point out the concerns you are called a bedwetter and these games are irrelevant.

And then the season starts and we are utter garbage.

Can only get concerned when we are no longer in any cups and out of contention for europe by December according to some.

If you look at the squad on paper, look at the game yesterday, look at the results and performances from last season, you surely have to be concerned. We need numerous signings.

One finished top 4 and one won a cup, we finished mid table again and finished the season like relegation fodder.

We shouldn't be concerned what other clubs are doing because other clubs won't have feel buried problems like us, other clubs won't have tom Davies starting games and have a sigurdsson captaining games.

Id be open minded on Brands, there are wins and losses, i always said id give him three summer windows and jusdge so he has this one, to wow me.

I do think we need to chill about the pace of activity though, its as it ever has been, we are in a position were we need to get the right quality of players, for the right price, its a game of tension between the buying and selling club and who blinks first takes the hit financially, we arent in position to that, no point saying otherwise. So i wouldn't be stressing about the speed of activity myself.

Because we are so familiar with our club and team sometimes we only see the flaws (and there are plenty to see). Seen from a distance or player/agent perspective things can look very different. I chatted last week on a ‘zoom party’ with ex-colleagues including a Spanish & an Italian lad who reacted to my doom with a number of good points including:

1. World famous manager
2. Still a respected name/history
3. Good young players (amongst the best young English, Italian, Brazilian strikers & young English CB who have won stuff at national junior or senior levels so have “good reputations in Europe” - their words not mine)
4. Never get relegated, always in PL
5. Pay well
6. Big problem is obvious & easy to fix (CM) so we are an opportunity for players in that position to get regular PL games


They weren’t saying we can compete for players with the regular Euro qualifiers or top Euro clubs but they were saying we are more attractive/less broken than I think.


We just have to hope Allan, Doucoure & their agent’s agree!!

Very very concerning. They looked second rate to a league one team when near full strength.

Yes I saw it.
Am I full of hope and think we’re Going to have an amazing season? No.
Do I think we’ll get relegated? No

We could have a whole new squad of players now if we’d have threw money at any old crap, but that isn’t how multi-million pound football transfers work.

Because the poster was saying why do they complete their transfers early. They've spent the same amount as us, nothing. We've been more active than united actually with the left back.
