Out of Allan, Rodriguez and Doucoure, who would you lot pick if you had to choose one?

We don't have to pick coz we're signing them all.

That looks a very decent team but Gomes would want to improve enormously on performances before the season finished to be included.

Yeah, he’s been very subpar. I’m just hoping having better players around him to do the leg work will allow him to show his qualities.

If we had any sense we should get it done quickly.

£15-18 million for a 1 in 4 goalscorer who can play in a 442 / 443 is decent value in todays market - Leeds are paying near £30 million for that same sort of CF.

He aint someone who would kick up a fuss not playing all the time either so a useful squad player.

We literally already have one of those and all you do is slate him.

I’d probably swap Coleman for Kenny and Keane for Mina but aside from Pickford, that looks a very strong team on paper.

Kenny is considerably worse than Coleman, imo.

I'd also have Mina for Keane, but I'd jib off Gomes and have Rodrigues in the centre and Walcott on the right.

I’m willing to give him a bye ball for last season after that injury and playing in a struggling team. He looked absolutely superb at times in his first season.

Given the three of James, Allan & Doucoure all happen.. what would we think of this kind of lineup?

Allan would technically occupy the space right in between the CM's and CB's but I didn't have that option in the lineup builder!

I don't think there is any real story here.

I have always felt that CA was not going to try and build slowly , I think he and Brands are working on a twin track approach.
CA will bring in senior players he knows and trusts to improve the team in one sharp transfer window.... I think the plan has been tweaked because of the pandemic but the desire is to get a team together for next season that will challenge for to six.

At the same time Brands is bringing in young players like Branthwaite and Nkonkou(hopefully more to come) to develop over a couple of seasons with the best of the young players already at the club like Dobbin, Gibson , Simms, Kyle John and others.
