Again, I'd beg to differ. Yep, I appreciate he wasn't great before his leg break but the options around him are literally awful. He is forced to hang on longer than he wants, has to try and tackle for Tom and Sig, and also had to work for a clueless manager prior to injury.
Ancelotti was clear how important Gomes is, he is an elite player who will flourish with better players around him.

I'm not sure we have differing opinions here really...I think he is one of our better players potentially but have heard a lot of excuses for not playing well. Players can just be in a poor run of form which I think he was at times last season. The team around him won't help of course but it also doesn't make him play sloppy passes to nobody either.

Add a couple more even competent midfielders in with him and the team will start to look much better.

Not quite how betting works since when adding up the probabilities of all of the outcomes you can bet on, you won’t get 100%, but yes, in theory it’s 95.2% and 88.9%.

It tends to be 95% doesn't it, so you can subtract around 10% from both.

I don’t think he will leave this window but I wouldn’t be surprised or particularly bothered if he did.

Saw a report from Italy saying Juventus are interested in Allan. Offering cash plus player deal. Has this been dismissed yet? Always a lot of gossip spouted in the Italian sports papers

We will not be buying Edouard IMO.

The competition will be good for him if we sign Allan and Doucoure. He’s certainly not been consistent but when he’s playing well he can be excellent. Better movement around him may help.

Most bookies tend to work to a margin of 10-12% so the added up odds will generally add up to 88-90.ON something like oddschecker when across bookies you probably get to 95-97.

Either which way, at least on bookies odds they are very likely!

We had to pay a fee to City for Barry when he was on a free tho? I'm sure theres some 'creative' way to do it. Whether or not we or they would want to go that far in to it is another story.

I would say more if we can offload Tosun - having just 3 CF's in a 442 means all it takes is one injury and you have no one available on the bench.

If we could get £10-12 million for Tosun and Edouard in for £20-25 million it would be good business.
