He wasn't awful

I'm not saying I believe we're in for him or will be. But he wasn't awful. Not up to the standard of 2018-19, it's fair to say, but he wasn't poor.

He had been denied a big move away that the club had promised him. He was bound to take a dip in form and end product.
Add into that, that he is double/triple marked as he is often the danger man, and he isn't going to set the world alight.

We need some outs now from the over populated hide and seek champions -- Everton's midfield of 2019/20

So many to pick from, but if Delph, Besic plus one of the big earners from Sigurdsson/Bernard/Walcott could be jettisoned asasp, that would be great.

If the link to Zaha did end up involving Tosun and Bolasie going the other way, then that would be tremendous business.

I’d love Zaha but at this stage think any decent winger would give us an opportunity to get stuck in to the race for CL, though we’d probably fall short

We as a fan base need to try and overcome this mental block. It eventually transfers to the players.
It is hard as the media and the refs give us a hard time, so we ultimately accept mediocrity. But I don't think Ancelotti, Allan and James are accustomed to such nonsense, and they will not accept it either. Lets just see how the team gels and see where it takes us. I am hoping for first place, but just having a shot at competing in every match will be a positive.

Honestly, everyone saying we need a new right back when we have Coleman and Kenny, but what about left back? We have Digne and Nkounkou, the latter looks talented but I don't think we can rely on him just yet. He needs a season in the U23 first I reckon. We need another left back.

LB we have a proven starter and a promising youngster as back up.

RB we have a player past his best who has stoppped making runs forward like he used to and a backup who always looked dodgy defensively, despite being decent going forward.

That's why most people don't agree with you.
