Yes to grealish, although he'll be stupidly expensive. Him and Madison are the standout young English midfield talents atm. No to ward prowse. Maybe a loan for that city kid. He looks mint.

Darren Bent urging Everton to sign lingard and build a team around him ha. Should be able to get him for only £30 million
You lot are wrong about Jesse. Ha.

how on earth can you build a team around lingaard? Not even a non-league club could build a team around him. He'd be their best player yes, but it'd hardly be "give the ball and get it jesse" even in the 7th tier.

I don't think we had the midfielders when Carlo first got here and by the we had 3 get healthy at the same time we had won a few games using 4-4-2. But I do agree. It's a better formation overall and I think Iwobi and Bernard would play better centrally.
Personally don't think either of those have what it takes to make much of a prolonged impact in this division. Bernard has proven that he's a 1 in 10 player who goes missing far too often, and Iwobi is just so far off the quality needed it's funny. If Bernard was on squad player wages I'd keep him, but as he's our top earner I would be actively looking to offload him. Iwobi I fear will be the modern day reincarnation of Bolasie and we'll be stuck with him until his contract is up in 2024. Shocking, shocking signing - Marco's final gift to us.

Edit: I've decided to update my posts when I get some coward adding their negative rep to it. Subject X can be displayed below:

Anonymous -5 Points Bernard is a great player, so no

Great player lol What a bellend. Out yourself or forever remain a coward.

Iwobi is the new Bilyaletdinov I reckon, plays best through the middle but stuck out wide! tbh his best game did come playing through the middle against West Ham

Almost agreed re Bernard, I do like him and he shows flashes of greatness but goes missing a lot. Plays similar to Pienaar but not on his level

If this came to fruition i think that would be the final straw for me. Wouldn't be spending my hard earned on a Saturday watching that little parcel jog round Goodison. Na sorry.

Pienaar was consistently good, and quite often was absolutely brilliant. Bernard is consistently decent, and occasionally brilliant. He works hard and appears to have a great attitude, but his wages-to-influence ratio is way off.

Where’s this narrative come from that Bernard “goes missing”? Do people understand what that means? Like, not getting a goal or assist in a game doesn’t mean you’ve “gone missing”, he never stops running, tracking back, and seems to get on the ball more than any other player in the team even if he has a bad game and the things he tries don’t come off. Going missing is what Gylfi Sigurdsson does, where he literally touches the ball about 7 times in a game and you forget he’s on the pitch.
