Everton Transfer Thread - Summer 2020

There's no need to be absolutist and draw conclusions at this stage is there? He's twenty years old and we're not at the final destination yet.
He's been given a year to settle in, Ancelotti said he'll be firmly in his plans as of this season and we'd be left with Sandro and an injured Tosun as back up.

Im not arguing for or against keeping or getting rid mate - im just saying in my eyes based on the reputation of the lad and price tag he's flopped so far here.

And thats not just based on his 2 goals - bar one or two games he's looked like a drunk fan out on the pitch.

Looks like he eats the ground up very quickly. I'm assuming he went on loan last season then? Looks like Blackburn from the kit.

...Brands is a fan (based on previous links) and he seems a similar type to others we’re linked with. Certainly covers ground well, but I’d like a clip of him in a leg race with a striker running back towards his goal.

If we could shift out Sigurdsson, Besic and Delph I would definitely try for Gana at £20mil on a 3 year deal.

Great rotation option for Allan / Doucoure.

I wanted us to sell at the time and replace with an 'Allan' and never imagined we could actually get Allan himself.

Now we have him and Doucoure we have no other quality options...would be a good signing at £20mil.

Midfield set up very nicely then with options.

They may be big but their distribution has been good in recent times. Mina looks incredibly comfortable stepping out with the ball into the midfield, and Keane's ball progression from deep has always been very accurate.
Keane is good on the ball
Let the record state I like both Yerry and Keane a lot.

Keane is decent and disciplined at passing (just look at his pass map from sunday for example) but he's not really great at bringing the ball out of defence imo. He's not got great control with the ball at his feet.

Whereas Yerry is is very willing but can be a bit ungainly at times.

I think someone who can transition defence to attack a better could give us an extra dimension which could be useful. Whether this guy at city can do that i don't know, he just looked decent in that one clip. I miss someone who just waltzes out like Stones used to. (I admit this is a very rare trait to excel at.)

For me Keane does what is necessary. No he isn't a dribbler but he is a CB so he most certainly does not have to be. He passes safely most the time but when something is on he is willing to make aggressive passes and is fairly accurate with them. I can't really ask for anything else to be honest.

Now maybe people do want more and that is probably fair enough but this does not make him bad with the ball.

Holgate can when he's back.

£8m seems low risk as wages should be low unlike Delph. Should jump at the opportunity to work with Carlo. He sure won’t improve defensively under Pep as Stones has found.
