Problem is though he has flopped here so I imagine money wise we'll not claw back what we paid but alteast FFP wise he'll be 2 years into his deal so that sort of fee would post us a small profit on the books.

Think he had a bit of a nightmare at West Brom, played at right back on several occasions (6ft5!) - then made the move to Blackburn last season and ran the show.
Always looked pretty gangly at U21 level when I saw him, but those videos on that twitter thread show that he's grown into his frame over the past 18 months

He's still flopped though mate - whether you feel like he hasnt had a proper chance or can develop with age is another thing entirely.

He was billed as the next big thing from Italy - 1 in 2 ratio for Juventus and 2 goals in 3 or so games for the national side then he ends the season with 2 goals and was humiliated by Big Dunc being subbed on and then off.

There's no need to be absolutist and draw conclusions at this stage is there? He's twenty years old and we're not at the final destination yet.
He's been given a year to settle in, Ancelotti said he'll be firmly in his plans as of this season and we'd be left with Sandro and an injured Tosun as back up.

You can be a good passer (with) but not necessarily good at dribbling, turning attackers etc. like Holgate (on).

Seems that Adarasbigidoaoyouoaj had two strong, full season in the Championship so maybe decent back-up?
