Lossl wasn’t horrible his last season at Huddersfield in the Prem. I am a huge fan of selling English players to other English teams and collecting that arbitrary price bump they all receive. I’d go as far to say our policy should be to never buy English players from English leagues and if there will be a homegrown player requirement fill them with youngsters from out youth teams

Rumours are Lossl was the cause of Gbamin's horrendous injury, a reckless challenge in training and people were unhappy. If true I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone in the summer, being shipped out on loan in January kind of backs this up.

Totally with you on this. 43 million for Pickford to spend on a creative cm and Ben Foster on a free would improve us immeasurably.

I can see this aswell. Sell while we can, get a Foster/Fabianski/Krul for cheap and spend the money elsewhere.

Those keepers won't have played half a dozen for us before people on here would be wishing for the return of Pickford.

I'd sell Pickford. Shame there's no Euros as it could have bumped his price a bit.

I get what you’re saying, I’ve always rated Foster, but he is 37, so probably 2 years max left in the top division.
Of those mentioned in the ‘free’ bracket, Foster and Krul are currently with clubs that ‘could’ be relegated if the league continues. I mean, who in their right mind would sign a goalie from a relegated club? Oh, hang on........

One of them would be fine to sit on the bench, but we’d need to buy a first choice as well if we sold Pickford.

Clubs will still have to pay their wages, which isn't cheap.

We might not see any big moves until Jan or so at the earliest. Wish we had a few more promising youngsters coming through who could take this opportunity to step up.

It seems as if Baines will be asked to stay for another year but all the others will probably be allowed to leave.
I did a quick estimate on what they may be earning and I would guess it could come close to 200k per week or 10 million in a full season which is frightening for a bunch of reserves , players very much on the periphery and a couple that the club cannot wait to be rid of.
