He's utter tosh - gutted if we end up signing him.

Either get a loan or go all out and spend some dough on a top quality CB who can slot in like Allan and James have.

Worth remembering that if we were to sign him he would be getting managed by one of the best managers to ever grace the game instead of someone who's biggest claim to fame is being Klopp's mate.

He was on fire.

In January Juve paid £30m+ to sign him and then left him at Parma to develop.

He came back this Summer, played in pre-season, started opening league fixture, scored.

You can twist the stats anyway you want, but he wasn't at the club during that time as was on loan. Since actually being available for them to pick this season, he was picked. So 100% is getting a look in.
